New Map: Frigid2
« on: November 03, 2011, 06:55:44 PM »
This map has been under construction for a while now. I've been working on it little by little, and I mean LITTLE.  Anyway, some of you might be wondering why I'm making a new thread, well Cuso is inactive and has not touched this map... so well, I'd like to be able to update the first post ;)

So yeah, it's half a map at the moment because I'm still working on another path and a lot more detail.

It's going to be...
-2 Teams
-Red + Purple?
-Very large
-?

So yeah, here it is.... Alpha 7.

P.s HAS A LOT OF TEXTURE MISALIGNMENTS, DON'T POST ABOUT THEM.

Currently Workin' on.....

Looks interesting for an alpha map. For the first beta make sure that you don't use a warp surface on ice (?), otherwise you'll get the reflection and the mirrored geometry showing.

Haven't worked on this in ages as I had lost my map file! I just found it, so hopefully, I'll actually get a bit further with it ;)

Thanks dude, the map file I found only alpha 5 though, so I got a ways to go to get back to where I was.

RICK!!!! You need to work on this map and get the next alpha/beta out so we can play on it. This map is too good to be just sitting around somewhere in your files.

If you have a newer .bsp file, it might just be easier to convert it back to a .map depending on how much you lost. It might mess up some textures, but it could be worthwhile.

HERE. Sorry, my internet sucks and I timeout when attaching things :P

When decompiling maps, textures are the least of your worries :P
