You don't need to register an account for the game. If you're referring to a fileplanet account to download the game, you can just download it off of one of the mirrors (click on the mirror @ sf.net link). If you're referring to the forums, the activation emails are currently not workings, so if you register an account, you'll need to post the account name you registered and I'll activate it manually.
