Updated the first post with the full installer and Linux version.  Could somebody test these and check for any (new) issues?

T3RR0R15T: The minimized thing works for me, maybe it works under Win 7?

Seems to work randomly for me.  Sometimes it works, sometimes just shows grey background.  Running windows 7 64-bit.

Edit:  Actually now that I think about it, I haven't even tried build 35 yet.  It works randomly for me on build 33.

Downloading the full installer version now......

0.33 was completely fine (in terms of not crashing) so hopefully it will be o.k.

I'll let you know after a bit of play.

edit:
------

Full Linux version works 100% fine.

Updated all servers.

File mirror: ftp://otb-server.de/pub/Game/

Edit:

Found something weird with the flag (only one time until now). I used the teleporter directly before it:

Tested out build 35 last night.  I still do not like having to hold space to slide up and down ramps, it just seems so unnecessary.
You lose control on ramps maybe 1/100 times,  I don't think such a big change should be made to fix it.

I was trying to speed low on Propaint1 and about 1/10 times I would jump when I landed on the low ramp.

It really makes no sense in my mind that you have to hold down the jump button to slide down a ramp?  Up maybe... because it is not possible to jump while going up a ramp.  But it is always possible to jump while going down a ramp!

What happens if you want to jump around while sliding on the ice?  Since you are already holding jump you have to let go, (which stops you almost instantly) then hit jump again.  I really think this idea of having to hold jump should be scrapped.  Sure it might be nice to have control the 1/100 times you lose it.  But the other 99/100 it is just frustrating.

Sky gliding also has to be removed in my opinion.  But other than that I suppose I like build 35.

I don't think this has to do with build 35. I've noticed this a few times before while playing on the speed servers (sometimes up to 10-15 times "sending back"). The thing is, that it happens on different maps every time and I haven't figured out what could possibly trigger it.

I think it has something to do with velocity on the flag when it gets reset (position gets reset, but velocity doesn't, so it keeps moving away from the place it's supposed to be).  I thought I fixed that, but maybe not.

I'm unable to pause demos now. Not sure which build caused this, but it worked with b32.

Edit:
Try typing "set deathmatch 0" at the console before loading a demo and see if you can pause.

Works now o.O

I just remembered another bug with the physics that keeps slowing me down, and it's when a ramp is around 45 degrees (or only 45 degrees, can't say for sure), there's a chance for you to get stuck on it. I think I remember this being an issue in Q2 as well unless you use a high enough fps, like 120 for example. Don't know where the limit is though.

It's very apparent on ice jump maps where you speed up into a ramp, but it's also a frequent problem on normal maps as well.

I actually made one just in case. The map is wobluda_fix.

Edit: I made a demo for icy ramps as well. (map: jump/d3ljump7)

Here's another old bug: You sometimes spawn face down.

Has anyone else noticed the bug where the flag glitches out when you kill the flag carrier?

I kinda liked physics from build33, too bad  they won't come in next build (or current b35). Many games changed from harder to easier gameplay, like fifa or pes for example. Anyone remember old fifa games where it was so hard to score crazy goals or do some tricks with players. They changed it and many people play it, because of its easy gameplay. Same with pb :)
I think that physics like ones from b33 would make a game more attractive and bring you new players.

Yes this.  It seems like it happens every time I kill the flag carrier.  Not minor like that thread states.

This game's learning curve is huge. Making it easier can only help. I don't see a downfall too it.

On the other hand, if B33 had a tutorial, than i think it would've been alright.

I don't see how this game has huge learning curve.

1 gun (pretty much)
1 shot 1 kill
quake style movement might be a little difficult, but if you make this easier then we are left with walking
