Digital Paintball 2 Tutorial
« on: January 22, 2012, 12:25:29 PM »
Going to have some spare time at the start of Feb, so Im going to make some tutorial vids, like Skyline/Chemical did but improved where I can make them better, and in a sultry British accent. Theyd be useful with new wikis incoming and all , the more vids the merrier I guess ^^

Im not tech savvy (just ask superman..) so if someone could link me to a reliable easy software that records the screen, Id appreciate it. Id want to talk, so a software with speech too would be brilliant.

Thanks

That might be a little trickier than it seems, because if im not mistaken, there are alot of programs which will  record you're screen easily enough but which will not record dp2. I'm not too sure whats best to use, but a friend of mine does this and he uses a HD PVR i believe. No idea what it is really or how it works but might be worth a look.

sultry British accent.

Love it :)

Try Camtasia Studio, wasn't very hard to set it up when I used it to stream a cup once.

Hypercam for desktop screen recordings, fraps for in game.

That's usually for recording tv to computer.

You have to pay for Fraps though. I think you can get Hypercam to work if the resolution is 640x480. Does PB2 support that resolution?

You actually don't have to pay for fraps, it has a watermark on the trial and you can't record more than 60 FPS but why would you need to if it's just tutorials?

I think the tiral version will only record about 10 seconds of video as well.

Dare I say, torrent it. There's tons of fraps cracks out there.
