Login issue

I cannot log in when I am in my game. I have an old account for this game, and I changed its password recently. I can log in on the website fine, but in game it always says that I am not using the correct password, even though I am. Please help

Did you use the name you registered to dplogin?

I am guessing that it has something to do with the saved password linked to your account in game.

Try deleting your profile from the list and re adding it using the new password.

I am using my DPLogin name and tried twice to remove and add my profile and try again. I even reinstalled the program.

You are sure you are using the dplogin account?  Remember this is different from the dp forum account you are posting with now.

DPLogin name: fireflame22
In game name used: fireflame22
In game sign in name: fireflame22

It is all the same name.
And I know the forum account is different from the DPLogin account.

What I think is that the game thinks that I still have my old password, as if I never changed it. So I put in my new password in and it doesn't accept it because it thinks I still use my old password.
It means this:

DPLogin password: passwordA
Game password should be: passwordA
Game thinks that password is: passwordB

Open console and write this:

seta menu_profile_pass ""
seta menu_profile_autologin ""
Then try deleting account from your game and typing those again.

well you see, i'd say that you need to log in to dplogin.com-->edit profile--->change password

then start up dpb2 and delete that account and then put :
DPLogin name: fireflame22
In game name used: fireflame22
In game sign in name: fireflame22
DPLogin password: new password
Game password should be: new password

Keep on posting so useful stuff so we can't help you. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE. WHAT PROBLEMS OCCUR AFTER ALL. MAYBE POST SOME USEFUL FILES?

That's what I have tried two thousand times. I know how to log in, I am not a noob. The game says I am using the wrong password when I login, that is the problem I have.

1. I created my account under the name fireflame22 and the password [passwordA].
2. I played Paintball normally.
3. I stopped playing Paintball for a while.
4. I wanted to play Paintball on my new computer
5. I forgot my password so I changed it by email to [passwordB]
6. I start Paintball and as my profile name I use fireflame22 and as my login name I use fireflame22.
7. fireflame22 shows up on the list of players, being the only one there.
8. I put in my password, [passwordB].
9. The game says "Login failed. Please see console for details."
10. I checked the console. It says "Incorrect password for username "fireflame22"."
11. I tried looking on the forums for a similar problem and could not find anyone who experienced this.
12. I started my own topic on the forums for help.

Because I don't remember it. Why else would I have changed it?
And I am assuming that my old password will work, I do not know for sure.

 I had the same problem when dplogin first started, if i recall correctly. I am not sure though. I think in that profile you need to change pw as well or something. It's kind of confusing with profiles, I must admit.

You should try to change your password again, but this time without reseting. Reseting by email is new feature and it may contain bugs.

I already gave him tips to reset autologin feature. I don't think it's config issue. But if changing password doesn't help, try this out, you can backup your files if this doesn't help.
