Same as the guy who posted the screeny below. Restarted comp, didn't work. Ended process, re-installed, everything. Still will only come up with the icon on the taskbar.

Any ideas? :/

EDIT: If it means anything, when I try to open it, I hear the sounds of it opening, and my mouse goes to the top left corner of my screen, which can't be moved unless I click. Hell, I can even cycle through options normally with arrow keys and enter, just can't see a darn thing.

reinstall the game in another partition
that helped me, i had the same problem

Where is screen below lolz. Seems like you don't know how forum thing works.

You can try to reinstall, AND IT MEANS DELETE FIRST. If won't help try posting some more useful informations.

i have the same problem as the first guy and i reinstalled it 3 times and nothing worked.

had the same problem.
Fortunately i had a second copy of pb2 on my PC, so i tried different things.
And payl is 100% right. It is the config u have to delete. When u run pb2 again, it will be reseted to the values of the default configuration file

i deleted the whole game 3 times and it still didnt work. and wherre can i finr the configuration file?. im kind of new to this stuff.

c:/games/paintball2/pball/configs/

The path "c:/games/paintball2/" can be something else, if you changed it at the installation.

so i have to reinstall again? i just deleted it, idk, i think im done with this game...like theres no more good mtach servers.

and if i do reinstall i have to do that "c:/games/paintball2/" ?

No, you don't need to reinstall it. The game creates a new config file if you start it again. The path is only the default path. You don't need to use it, if you not want to.

what is the problem of just renaming/deleting the config.cfg file???

Maybe this should be put into the FAQ, it seems as if many people had this problem.
