Hacking or Not Hacking?
« on: June 23, 2006, 04:58:58 PM »
Well since lately there have been many people hacking and stuff.  It comes to my mind a lot hacker or not hacker?  You see xb for example play midnight.  They have been playing the map for soooo long that they understand how people are going to react in certain situations.  Same with eR33t, castle1 is a map they understand and know very very well.  Also with a good headset and some recon its easy to tell where people are coming from.  I recently matched er33t on roundup and they just had way better aim which is practice.  A hacker to me isn't someone making good jumps but walking around with there face stuck in a wall.  If you look at the this part of the forum most the hackers are people i haven't heard of.  I haven't seen people i see around in IRC hacking.

To the newer players:  If someone is going fast they have practiced strafe jumping(search it) if someone body is great aim is probably skill.  For the amount of players that play the game and the amount of hackers most people you see in the public server do not hack.

decided to make this topic because it seems like people have a great intrest in this subject.

I'm a hacker. I represent my local 2600 group and the local Defcon group, #312.

I have no clue what xsv-boys original post is supposed to mean? Are you accusing someone of hacking?

I think he's just trying to say that hackers (which is a misnomer -- you should be calling them cheaters), are just stupid newbies who nobody's even heard of before, while the people who are kicking your butt are actually skilled players that just know the ins and outs of the game.
