teleporting maps!

alright, i'm sure you all know they made a game out of jumping: jump maps. well i came up with another idea for a game-style map: teleporting maps! for the map i have created, you step on the brown boxes to teleport, and the grey boxes are recievers (a.k.a. places you will be teleported to). the map is 3 rooms (each with 4 teleporters and 4 recievers) and one flag room. if you manage to teleport to the flag room, grab the flag and stand on your color. oh yeah, and all the rooms are the same color, so even though it might not look like you are teleporting, you are. The reason for this is so it is impossible to learn a pattern so you can get to the flag too fast.

First there was spawn killing, then there was teleporter killing.
Make sure the map doesn't allow anyone to camp the destination that the teleporter brings other to, in lots of Quake 3 and Quake 4 maps this turns into a lame camping thing.

i have a reminder in the map name to set ball life to zero so that you can't kill people. i'm hoping people will listen to me

here is my idea... just raise the reciever platforms so that you can't camp but leave the floor normal, and leave the teleporters on the ground

(the idea is people will need to leave the recievers as soon as possible so that another player wont spawn on them, making it impossible to move, and you cant camp all the way from the ground)

after a recent glitch i discovered, allowing the player to continuously capture and return the flag without being teleported out of the flag room, i have edited the map. I have added another room, colored yellow, that contains the flag. you must grab the flag from that room, and then step on the teleporter that will put you in the room where you capture the flag. then you will be teleported out. this fixes the glitch because it is impossible to teleport back to the room with the flag in it from the capture room. I also fixed some lighting problems in the capture room.

You can put "endsround" "1" in the flag or base and it will end the round when the flag is captured.

Im back with an updated version of teleport! This time, it spawns with weapons.

Changes i made:
You now spawn with:
- a trracer
- 200 paintballs
- a brass barrel
- a 200 round hopper
- loaded 12oz co2

- every time you teleport you recieve 50 paintballs

- If you make it to the flag room you recieve 100 paintballs

- if you make it to the capture room you recieve 150 paintballs

- if you capture the flag you recieve 200 paintballs

- flag room will spawn 20oz Co2 and steel barrels

- cap room will spawn autocockers and automags

Sadly, i did not design this map. medley crew 2 did an awesome job on this map though*considering we started with the BSP program last week!* !
