It's a very old bug.
Every bug is found again ~2years and reported again. And never fixed. This is how this section works.

Rick, try to tell whats the problem next time (I know it's sometimes hard, but some info isn't that hard).

It should say "ERROR: Couldn't load maps/3v3tourney.bsp." if you don't have the map.  I'm not seeing a random string.

Thanks for the quick reply Jits. Ah, so it was the mappers fault, it's a pretty groovy 'bug'.

It's less groovy if you set gl_clear to 1.  Then it's just a black void, for the most part.

I'm not dumb jitspoe...
To be exact: I used my older demo downloader with b38, it downloads demo and then runs paintball with it.
I have 3v3tourney.bsp map, but it reported that it could not open random string (random string being some cvar names i guess).
Can try again with b40 if you want to fix this.

Since often there are issues you don't address when you even ask for details, I'm asking if you actually want to trace this bug. Otherwise I would be wasting my time.
EDIT: Btw. If you are looking for more urgent bugs to fix: Stop kicking from server if you are suspected of speedhack because of server or client lag. This is done much easier on client side, I sent you code for this once.

Bug fixes since build 38:

- Bugfix: Fixed crash with dedicated servers. 10/7/2013
- Bugfix: Fixed integer overflow in sound code, caused by playing on a server that had been running the same map for days. 11:13 PM 10/7/2013
- Bugfix: Fixed "Can't load pics/***r_notexture***" message. 10/7/2013
- Bugfix: Fixed an issue where world would stop rendering after a vid_restart on some systems. 10:05 PM 10/8/2013
- Bugfix: Fixed issue with loading demos and maps (trying to open "Loading....bsp", etc.)
- Bugfix: Fixed occasional black splat models (hopefully). 1:24 AM 6/11/2013
- Bugfix: Fixed transparent surfaces on moving brushmodels (ex: doors) not moving.  Note that the draw order is still not fixed, so avoid putting them near other transparent brushes, but at least they will move.  2:12 AM 6/16/2013
- Bugfix: Made reflective water effect respect scale and rotation on maps (so flowing water flows the way the mapper specified). 12:01 AM 9/12/2013

So the bug you're reporting may be fixed.

Jitspoe, did you read log file? There is "0:00 left" message and "changing map" message. I wonder what it can mean lol.

Don't recommend playing on his server it's horrible. I know it's home ran, why do you even run in lazers? It's annoying when you go to look who's playing at night and the only people on are in your server. Would be sweet if Jitspoe disabled people from having home ran servers unless their Internet can actually handle it. Wish you would just take it down lazers. I'd rather just host you one from my vps. Home ran servers are buzzkills!

Don't do it because of me, I'd rather just have servers that don't suck. If you could fix it so it didn't lag when people join or download I wouldn't mind it. When we ping 1000 and you ping 10 just gets annoying.

Haha, no.  I glanced over the post too quickly and missed the fact that it was attached.

Should be fixed for the next version.

No, dont remove it, my admin powers will be gone. (Actually I haven't ued it yet. HE SEES ME)
