The route the information takes would cause Viciouz to get a lower ping than you, not the "speed" of his connection.



Think of the internet like a pipe and the information like water...  The water is always flowing at the same speed, but if you have a bigger pipe you can get more water.

My teacher used the same analogy to explain current. Thanks for reminding me that and telling me about why I get higher pings than viciouz pings:)

That is why I get very rare death lags :D
