I don't think you can assign + commands to mwheel-- but this works.

alias jump "+moveup; wait; -moveup"
bind mwheeldown jump

You need to use a key you can hold down.  You could use mouse3, or you could do what eiii suggested, but it would be hard to time your jumps right.

Yeah I use the mwheel to jump in cs because the timing is trickier there, and when you scroll the wheel down it has the same effect as hitting jump lots of times really fast.  I was just wondering if it could make for easy double jumps and stuff, but it's kinda hard with the waits :(

Oh well.

In CS you have to be touching the ground before you can jump.  In Quake2/PB2, you only have to lift the jump key up and press down again before you can jump again and you will basically "bounce".  I always press jump midair, so as soon as I touch the ground, I jump.  No need to worry about timing it right.  I think trying to use the scroll wheel will hurt your jumping abilities.

I thought CS made it so you slowed down when you jumped.

you slow down eventually but in some servers theres a mod that lets you bunny hop if you time it right

You can bunny hop in source you just have to make the right movements, helps if you start on a downward slope. You will never get to breakneck speed though

Kinda big video, but pretty cool.  All with default server cvars.  Silly music though
