Tournaments this summer

Greetings,

Team sPecial will be hosting yet again, more tournaments this summer.

I need to organize this, so I just need to know who would actually be interested in participating.

I would also like to know, if you would prefer a series of tournaments, with a final winner, or just a set of standalone tournaments.

A series would basically be, around 4 tournaments spread out. Teams that show up to every single one would stand a better chance of winning. The winner would be determined by points won from all the tournaments. For example: if there was; 5 points for winning, 4 points for 2nd, 3 points for 3rd, 2 points for 4th and 1 point for 5th.
Then your scores were as so, 1st, 1st, 1st, then didn't show up for the last one, you'd have 15 points. Where as if someone else did: 2nd 2nd 2nd 1st, they would have 17 points.

A standalone set would be, just a set of standard tournaments. (Numbered) People can claim, "I won the #sPec# Summer Tournament 3", whilst others can claim "I won #sPec# Summer Tournament 2." But there will be no relationship between the tournaments.

So,

I think when money is involved, people are more likely turn up.


I will probably make some form of map vote to ensure that the maplist is fair and sensible.

Depends on how much money to be honest.

I'm sure we've already got 8 3v3 teams interested in this. Should be fun.

-1 [Are you interested in participating?] Of course, Tournament is the best way for the clans to face each others, and add fun / goal to this game.
-2 [Would you prefer a standalone set, or a tournament series?] Standalone coult be great, but the activity of the clans is changing everytime, maybe it could force clans to stay active, if not, then it could ruin the standalone setting, in my opinion.
