Arch Linux - libgcrypt 1.6.x breaks the game (and fix)
« on: September 16, 2014, 03:26:18 PM »
Hi.

I recently tried paintball again on Arch linux , now the game is not playable on that distro - it uses libgcrypt 1.6.2, when you start the game it doesn't pause the first time you load the game (on a fresh install) - I believe this is connected with the anti cheat system.

Anyway the game does load however you will thrown out of any server (including localhost) - tempban.

The 'fix' is to install  libgcrypt 1.5.x - you can do so from AUR

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-libgcrypt15/

(for the X86_64 version)
