The Q2 jump community is putting together a winter league and we are trying to recruit from the PB and Q3 communities as well to get a nice turnout. In contrast to previous tournaments, where lower skilled players were eliminated after playing for an hour, this format is much more casual and allows anyone to play. The format is:
-12 weeks of gameplay, begins on friday dec 5th, each week, 3-10 maps are chosen to play
-everyone plays the same maps, whenever they want for the whole week, there are no specific times you have/need to play, each player is able to skip 2 weeks without penalty
-complete as many maps as you can per week, with points given out to the top 15 finishers, and 1 point if you manage to finish the map, but are not in the top 15
-tournament server will be at 195.93.242.155:27914 which is hosted in Germany

To play you will need the Q2 client. The recommended client is
R1Q2. The configuration is similar to the paintball client. There's been quite a few paintball guys playing in the German(195.93.242.155:27910) and TastySpleen(67.228.69.114:27940) server lately. Come over and say hello
EDIT: Also, if people think 16 weeks, with 4 weeks of skip would be better than 12 weeks, with 2 weeks of skips, let me know.
