King Kendrick Lamar - D.A.M.N

A whole album that goes into the billboard 100s. Possibly another classic album. A album that is a continuation of Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. Another wonder done by boy wonder. Another legend born in the rap and hiphop world. Mandem is officially one of the greatest rappers in rap history. He has left his marks, both lyrically and artistically. Name a rapper who is alive and better then Kendrick Lamar, absolutely none(Sorry J.Cole,Em,Jay,Nas,Drake,Migos). This guy is what Tupac couldn't do, he is the Micheal Jackson of Rap and HipHop. His prospective, story telling, lyrically stance, political awareness, all on point. His use of music and interpreting it is exponentially greater then anyone right now. His usage of music and integrating it into his work is phenomenal. Hes one of the few rappers to keep it real. When his "trash" songs(untitled) are on the level of rappers of the past; then that by itself is a statement of its own.

Heres my favourite songs in the album:
-DNA
-Humble
-Element
-Lust
-Duckworthy(True story)
-God
-Love
-Yah
-loyalty
-Feel
-Pride
-Fear
-Blood (Intro and sets the album into motion)
-XXX

Just because the song isn't at the top of the list, doesn't mean its excrement. All these songs are infact amazing, its just my opinion.

Now the question, is this the album of the year? Yes and no. Its the album of the year for actual hiphop and rap world; but not in the Grammy world. Will it be nominated? Oh hell yea. At least 3-5. But it wont be the album of the year; Album of the year for rap and hiphop will be Migos' Culture or TheWeeknd's Starboy. Drake's Morelife is also good, and that isn't even his best album, and it has a more likelyhood for the album of the year in the grammys.
