Turn Off Models In ChaseCam
« on: August 12, 2006, 10:48:46 PM »
Its annoying to see the body in chase cam. Anyway to hide the models so we dont have to be inside of the actual model?

The lack of replys to this topic leads me to question whether anyone actually knew what I was talking about.

When you are dead and you are chase camming someone with the 'camera' option with "In-Eye View", it would be cool if you could hide the body totally or see it from the person's actual screen, its kind of annoying having the model come on and off the screen depending on which direction you are going.

Press the fire button, you can switch to In-Eye view.  Good for demoing the h4x0rs.

You still can see the player's arms and the mask in the in-eye view.

I understand what you're talking about, and it's probably on my todo list somewhere.  I'll get to it when enough people vote for it.

Or, just set up a demo fov that would allow you to either have gun models visible and what not. eh? :/

I'll vote for this, and throw on an easy piggyback feature if I can... Can you make where it says name\model\color or whatever that third one is at the bottom while in camera mode have the text of the model or color equivalent to the actual color of that player?  Like blue actually being the color blue?  I always use chase cam from third person, but when I'm doing something like a demo it'd be nice if I could easily tell what color I was speccing without having to read the text closely.
