For people like me, and 90% of the clanning community does not play public servers, and if they do they usually use an alias. So really, this global login system is pretty useless for 90% of the DP community (the ones that matter -- irc clanners). I do not care about stats as I use a different alias everytime I play pub anyways. I do not care about being impersonated, not like anybody would want to impersonate an idiot like me anyways. Focus on improvements to DP that will help the gameplay, and not this Global Login System that seems to be giving you troubles anyways (if I have read some posts correctly)

I think the majority would agree with me here.

Since so many people voted for the global login, which is a good reflection of what the majority of paintballers want. How could I be the only one then that wants this? That statement is pure conjecture. Moreover its just a case of another cow saying "MOOO" which I equate to you sk8ter boomer and smokette saying "public newbs". So if you see me type "Mooo" from now on its me mocking you four wanna be er33t ass kissing clowns. To bad I have to point this out in a rude manor but that seems to the only way you understand things. What the intercourse are you so scared of to use just one name? Holy Jesus H Christ Chicken excrements. Grow the intercourse up and stop your whining, becuase that is all these lasts post to stop the global login are.

Back to the topic .....the majority voters clearly thinks that the global login is needed (for what ever reason) With that in mind I decided to change my vote for lager balls and I posted this fact after Bob's vote. So in summation my vote was not for a Global Login. Thats just another pathetic attempt to defame me. I am honored that even though I have stopped posting for the most part, you still feel the need to invoke my name. How righteous is that? I am now laughing at your face booger.

Lastly,

Sk8ter please keep your word for once and quit when this is built and released.

I know it is happening. But I'm going to continue to complain because it is worthless and isn't needed for stats to be recorded. Public servers are lame and nothing should be done to encourage them. It's the clanning community that is hurting. There is what, 2 maybe 3 fully active "challenging" clans out there? And yet you can fill 5 public servers. What the intercourse needs to be helped more? Think about it..

EDIT: I kiss er33t's ass..? lol. You have no idea what you're saying so you might as well live the forum and pub server life having NO idea what's going on in mirc and the clanning community.

Yeah we say pub newbs cause look at who plays pub these days. None of them even probably come on the forums so they don't know whats going on. People change their names so much it would serve no purpose, it would only be good for stats.

I can understand if you think my time was better spent elsewhere, but you make it sound like the whole clan community will fall apart if people are forced to use a consistent name online. On the contrary, I think it will help build the community. People will actually get to know each other since they won't be playing different people all the time (who are actually the same people using different names). Registering a name will most likely require accessing the website, which will in turn increase awareness of the forums, irc, and clan activity. People will act less like smacktards because they're less anonymous. Players caught cheating will be easier to identify and ban. And, the obvious, people won't be spoofing other players, adding members to clans they don't even belong to, etc.

The only people I see this causing an issue for are griefers, but I'm sure they'll find new ways to harass people.

Lun why do you equate the paintball world to being on mirc 24/7? Its not. Sure there are some really nice people there and its fun. Moreover I would recommend using it as a tool to improvement. The most voted on addition (which I did not vote for) was a global login. Where if I may ask was....lun, sk8ter, boomer and the rest of 90% of IRC Clanners that 'matter'
