well compiling it with vis normal takes like a year, does anyone know what causes that error?

i can compile it with nofill, but r_speeds go into like 3,500

Is there only one route out of each base?? One route to the middle of the map?

Do you have a large skybox around the map or something?  The map itself doesn't look too complicated, but from the top-down view, you shouldn't be able to see the top/outside edges of the walls like you can.  Make sure you seal each room as best you can.  put sky brushes down to the walls so they block areas off from each other.

Also, as KnacK hinted, having a single path from one base to the other will lead to poor gameplay.

Also, detail anything that shouldn't block your view so much.

yes, i do have a skybox, so should i put  asky brush over the map or something instead of a box?

It really needs to have more than one "pinch point" and water doesnt cut it.  needs to be on hard ground or a balcony/cat walk type access/route.
