Another yet-to-be-named map by me!

No screens right now, just download it.
This is just a base- at first I wast going to make this a siege map but I think it would work better if I added a middle part and mirrored the base. However, I currently have no plans for the middle I guess that's something to work on.

Things to do!
- Tweak textures, if people can come up with good alternatives. I like them now.
- Fix the darn leak-inducing roof.
- Change base lighting?
- Change sun lighting/sky so they work together.
- Add stuff in the open areas like barrels inside, and stuff.
- Add a middle.
- Add entities.
- Add to the list of things to do.

What do you have against downloading the map? I'll post screens of the final version. Until then, you'll just have to download it. :P

wow eiii that looks like it could have some potential for a good map....


make some backdoors, a large middle, lots of cover, maybe some paths around the sides that intertwine, and a lot of creative jumps AND NO AIRTIME TYPE RAMPS. and this map will be a great match map

I like it, as I said yesterday on irc, the only things I dont like are the chain link texture that looks really bad from far away, and that the map is just ending on sky, i dont know if you are continuing the map from there but if thats how its boing to be left you could try making some sort of mountain, nothing fancy, just a big brush or more inclined.

I like the layout a lot, very good job on that. The textures seem a little dull, I know that there isn't much of an option to not use dull textures, but the brick walls just seem really dull when they are repeatedly used on a large surface like that. Not really sure on what you could do to spice it up though...
anyways, very good design, make sure to fix that little problem that Smokey took pics of.

well yeah i was basing my first opinon off the screens i saw here...now that i downloaded ans went throguh the map i like it even more....the inside tower area has a really nice like sphouse/kspalat2 feel to it.  I think there are some serious possibilities for like backdoors and double backdoors inside the base.  I also like how its very very open...if you were to mirror that for the other side and make a middle I'd suggest like a fairly large mid, possibly like a split high/low mid....with a clear texture almoist liekl a small glass wall in the exact center thatd be cool...some jumps/ladders to get from low mid to high mid....making sure that if you go high or low there are at least 4 different ways to get into the base. it definaly has potenial

What do you guys think of the barrel placement in the base? BTW, ignore the going-out-of-base part, I think I'm going to get rid of that.

I'm not completely done with those walls. You might notice they're completely flat, unlike another part of the wall that's brainstorm-esque. I'll fix that, but I'm really looking to get feedaback on the layout I have so far.
