Interesting read.  Looks like I've made the right choice in using Opera. :)

I use telnet, so I'll never be bothered with load times or any of that fancy graphical stuff. If I want to render some CSS, I'll pull out my colored pencils and begin drawing from the code.

Except lack of IE. The memory leaks don't bug me, you can easily fix them by going to about:config.

Really?  What's the setting for that?  The cpu leaks are what bug me.  It starts hogging up all my resources, even after I close the window it stays running in the background and won't die unless I kill it.  They may have fixed that now, though.

In about:config:
Add a new value, browser.cache.memory.capacity.
Set to the number of KB you'd like firefox to be able to use. Mine is set to 20480, or 20MB. It goes to 24k, but I haven't seen it much higher than that. :)

I also tried Opera, but I don't like how it functions/feels.

I <3 how Opera functions/feels, but there's only a 32-bit version (bah!), and I'm too well adjusted to my firefox extensions to switch over to it for my main browser, I do however use it whenever I'm on my Mac, opening lots of tabs, or making sure that some xhtml turns out good in all browsers.
