you guys need to clean up this like take the first 5 pages and delete all the post from them i mean its on page 6 now.
and i think the main thing you guys need to fix is when you can see the score or how much ammo you got that really bugs me shooting then seeing that you have been shooting blanks cause you did not know you only had 5 ammo left.

Excal are you using alpha 6? You're score/ammo should show properly.

Many servers allready report to the q2master server (I think). How about the clients have built in support for listing servers reporting pball as their game. Then there wouldn't be a need for the download server list option and the listings could be more dynamic.

Excalibur, go to the files section here and download the alpha 3 to alpha 6 upgrade, it's a small download and should take care of those problems.

thnx it did but now my screen is really dark whats the command to make it brighter "/r_gamma 5?"

To get brightness going try these...

gl_overbright 1
gl_brightness 0
vid_gamma .7
gl_modulate 1
gl_lightmap_saturation .7


If this isn't bright enough increase gl_modulate in small steps like 1.25 1.5 etc.

Forgot to mention, gl_brightness can be used also but if it has a value other than 0 your framerates may drop some.

Also, make sure you set vid_gamma_hw to 1, otherwise hardware gamma is disabled.

Here's a request...
make it so in maps theres an option varible to set the max score (it's normally 50)
and
make it so the respawn time of the flags is delayed (5-10sec), because on some whiteflag maps, that's  a problem...

The max score is a server-side setting.  What you can do is reduce the amount a flag is worth so the fraglimit is reached sooner or later.

i know. but sometimes, it would be nice for the flag to wait a few seconds before respawning...like in mirage. when one person gets the flag and returns it..another camps at the flag...and it takes a long time.

Ah, I see what you mean.  I thought you were talking about at the round start. :)  Another possibility is the use of the flagcapendsround option (already implemented), which will end the round as soon as the cigarette is captured.

I dont know if this was mentioned anywhere else, there is a lot of stuff to go back and read if you haven't kept up with it regularly.  Is there any way to impliment an instant replay feature from your eliminators perspective upon being eliminated?  And then after that, if something like that is possible, how about a instant replay of how the round ended (by flag capture or kill) at the end of each round.  And then further, how about a short clip of highlights upon completion of each map.  Thats probably asking a lot, but if its possible, that would be something that could really add some extra life to the game, not to mention help with any cheating issues.
