Yeah, but the server limit is what, 8 people?  Meaning there would be 2 ppl per team.  That's not enough, imo.  I am going to implement a new rotation system where you can limit the number of players to a map and such.  That way big maps will only be selected if there are enough players, and small maps won't be selected when there are too many players.

on the map winter1.bsp, it's a four team map. when there are only 2/3 teams it blocks off 2/1 openings that goto the 2/1 teams that aren't there.
Do i make myself clear? :)

Mappers have access to entities which allow certain brushes to be team specific.  They can apply them to those walls, so that if the team is active, their entrance will be unblocked, but if they aren't active(no one on the red team for example) the red entrance will be blocked.

I got a request! Not sure if this already exist but I was unable to find it... but, a command that you can turn on/off that will make it so you don't pick up a gun if you have a PGP. For example, if you wanted to play a map and only use a PGP you would be able to turn it on and run through the map and not have to worry about dropping your gun if you accidentally run over one somewhere and pick it up, and then you would be able to turn it off if you wanted to pick up a gun again.

That's an interesting idea.  I was thinking of making an option where you could vote to have the map PGP only.

Do you mean you press a key while you're standing over the item to pick it up? Or press a key to toggle the mode being on/off? I was thinking just a PGP-only mode that you can control for yourself where the game treats the PGP as a regular gun so you won't pick up another one.

When toggled, the player won't pick anything up unless he hits a "pick up" key.  That would also eliminate the problem of making noise when grabbing ammo or whatever while sneaking up on somebody, or picking up the flag if you didn't want to.

you would only have to press a key to pick the item up if you turned the mode on, so if you wanted to pick things up just leave it off

i like when there is a single player mode thast you can get new levels just like a normal game i think that that is a good thing becus there is not so muche games with paintball and els htey only aRE MULTIPLAYER this is a good option for more gamers and donetion and make a server thing like orange smoothie for quake 2 make some more servers and more big maps and make more comursiols for it and make a good 3d version for more users
and try to make the players walk like normal not like ritards  ::) ::) uuuuhhhh oje try to make the paintguns like real try to make the name on it or the triger looks nice and that is it i hope it works
