eiii raised this - I thought it deserved its own thread.

I don't see what the problem is. The toss can still be instant - just make it so that the hand goes at the same speed as the grenade, and then have it move in slowly.

good idea! i was rethinking my post about grens...

but what if you throw it down some? since the current models only really point in 3 directions (up,stright, down), it would screw up the anims. this could be fixed w/ new models though...(hint hint again)

I think if it's a subtle animation, the direction you're tossing in won't matter.

Well, this is. I was thinking over this one a lot and I've thought that maybe you could have more animations, say for picking up paintballs, etc. Or having slightly transparent hoppers and having it so that you can see the pballs in there. And having different gun models things (shown on your 1st person HUD, but actually on the gun) of things like hoppers, barrels, CO2, etc.

I don't think the players would look good picking up paintballs at 75 miles per hour.

Not really sure if this is a request for first person or 3rd person animations. If it's the latter, it will break compatibility with the old player models.

ya that sucks when u think someone is idling and when you walk past them to get the flag they turn and shoot you. also i think the grenade animations would be cool but im worried about lag issues. would all these new animations make me lag even more?
