Lining No More! pgp .ent's
« on: November 06, 2006, 01:44:27 PM »
I changed the title a bit just for the publicity boost.

Here are some of the .ent files I made for my LAN server (never could get it to work online). They convert maps to all pgp all the time without having to use the expert mode every round.

It is suggested that you view your map folder by file type, copy all your current .ent's, back them up in a "normal ent" folder and then make a new folder with alternate .ent's. Then you can just switch between all pgp (or whatever else you want) in only a few seconds.

I will put them up in installments as I get to them, then put larger collections in this post.

This one is all death matches It includes two ctf map converted over with new spawn points.  I made no real attempt to balance the ammo etc. I just left what was there to start with, making them rather ammo rich.

Included .ent's:

fff
conquest
cosmic 3
airtime2 (just because it is the most popular map)
Rome
pb2dm1
routez
theedge (this one is also quite dramatically antigrav, and you can go over the top and into the infrastructure). It is a challenge to us a pgp with people coming from all directions. )

CTF-pgp

back2back
barrels
indune
midnight
pbcup
siegecastle
ub_cliff
ub_rooftop
propaint1
shaz 22
shaz 33
Skate2
airtime2

These are easy to do so if others want to post some, feel free.  If you do try it please post which maps you are going to work on so you can save time for others.

Alternatively, if there is a map you want to see converted either to pgp only or with new spawn points, let me know.

Woot, thanks, something I've been looking forward to. I've always wanted to see a PGP only version of skate2...

Hm...ok, I will put that next on my agenda :)

I want to focus on those where spraying is the worst.

Looks like you saved it as RTF and not TXT.  Didn't you find it a bit odd that "Courier", "Arial", "\par", etc. weren't in the entity list? :)

Yeah had just figured that out through a bit of testing. But I couldn't post because my internet was messed up.

Another quick reply from you though!

Incidentally...any chance we could add .ent to the acceptable file attachments? Seems like overkill to put it in a zip. Then again...maybe it is my fault for loading this one as a single file.

Got the new file:
