Digital art---big download----new added
« on: November 11, 2006, 05:18:53 PM »
I enjoy doing some digital painting and such as a hobby.  Anyone else do much digital work? I noticed some tags and such around.

Here are some of my works from the last couple of years. I basically do it when I get time.

Some older stuff:

Corel Photopaint:

More to come later..have to resize them all...that is not a nice feature by the way!

They are all really good. I wish I had some artistic talent. If it be music or painting I have none.

Pretty nice... Do you visualize stuff and paint it, or do you have a reference?

That all depends. Most of these had refernces. The dolphin one, and parts of the dog one did not.

I will post some more non-reference ones as  I get a chance.

Hm, haven't done much digital art this year. I had some other things going with a job transition, moving, etc.  I did do some pencil work for a time. But here are a few practice pieces etc.:

Photopaint again

My son wanted one of a dinosaur. This one is called Bottom of the Food Chain:

I thank you for the comparison but he has much better lighting and atmosphere and a grasp on framing scenes. I do hope to be there some day. Right now I am practicing detail and such. Then I need to get my colors less saturated, move on to larger scenes etc.

Wow m7 those are really good.
I do enjoy doing stuff like that, I just don't have the time anymore.

I will try to make some more, or find some that I have done over the years.
But very nice work.

Good work M7.

I find myself frustrated alot that my artistic talents suck. I see things that I would love to draw, but the talent just isn't there.

Now, on the photography side, that's where I make up for it.
