for the life of me i cant remember how to get custom textures into bsp???

You have to make .wal files for them. Wally will do it, but make sure you have the Paintball2 palette loaded.

ok...gots all my textures in.wal files...placed them everywhere under the sun...can't access them through BSP...help?

pball/textures/s8n
Then hit L and select s8n. Replace s8n with whatever you want.

when i press L, it just gives me pball2. i know i have 4x's texture folder in there...just...meh.
EDIT:
found my problem. anyway...another question. do the tex's have to be .wals? can i use some other guy's custom texture as a .jpg?

I guess that works as well, but it seems just as easy to open (jpg), file/save as (wal). Just make sure you have the right palette loaded in wally.
