after death kills.
« on: May 07, 2004, 07:12:07 PM »
i would like to see the end of after death shots (my name for them) its when you die and your ammo you shot before you died flys and hits a guy. verry anoring to die by a dead guy. and really bad to die by that gren long after the guy was killed.
my 2 cents on the mater.

well im saying this cause in real paintball when you get elem anyone you shoot after your dead dont count. so to die by a dead mans timed gren is kinda lame

He was alive when he fired the paintball, so the shot is perfectly valid. Rockets dont cancel out and die when you're playing Q2 DM and the guy dies. Or any other deathmatch game for that matter.

well maybe not gun kills but the delayed paintgrens that blow up after you killed the guy 30 secs ago.

im just saying that cause you said grens go off after only 2 secs but like i said 2 in real life is like 8 secs game time. so in the game the grens go off after about 8 secs. (meaning you move 3 times faster in the game then you do in real time and everything moves 3 times faster so 2 secs game time would be like insta grens.) and after death is a pet pev of mine but it might not be for you so if you dont like it then just say you dont like it and drop it. it was a sugestion i made.

after "last-death-of-the-round" kills don't count.
::)

But, if they get an after death kill, then i think they should deserve it. if they fired accuratly, they should get the kill. if they threw a timed 'nade well enough so you step on it, they deserve the kill.

I like after-death kills.  I'm actually considering making a short delay after the last person on a team dies so that 1v1 double kills will always result in a tied round.

It would also be fun to have special sounds when a dead person kills someone that's alive, like, "From the grave!"
