How about a prefix for commands that won't cause them to be said by default? To reduce the chance that you accidentally misspell 'login' or something. Maybe a double slash?

Single slash is easy and is used in the Quake 3 engine, I like it.
If you have to // comment your code six hundred times a day then you are doing a bad job at whatever language it is, you should be able to look back at your stuff and understand it without many comments or it should be redone.

Umm, haha get real.
In the real world, TinMan, you comment code.  You have to.  The 50 idiots who touch the code after it leaves your hands will screw stuff up, and to re-implement features that are essential to the clients original need, you'll have to glance back at everyone's code, including your own...  When projects get over the 20,000 line mark, without purpose statements, todos, etc. code becomes unmanageable and thus nearly useless.

You're going to have to vote for something a little more specific.  Perhaps you need to invest in a new monitor, too.

maybe we could issue cd keys wen they download the game or make their global login account so that u could ban by cd key instead of ip or hostmask so the ppl with dynamic ips cant come back u could just ban by the cd key

Can't really issue cd keys since there are no CD's.  Plus, since it's free, people could just get another "key" and play again.

Patch support to go with the new patch support in BSP. :D

I don't really like patches.  Dynamic level of detail meshes would be much more flexible.  You could make lots of different shapes, not just curves.  Besides, simple archways like that are easy to make with just brushes, plus you can use the phong shading in arghrad to simulate essentially the same thing.

Patches would make it easy for newer mappers (or all mappers, maybe) to add pretty curvy-things to their maps. Plus, you could automatically LOD them by just drawing them as if they had half the verts. That's a bad way of explaining it, but hopefully you get the idea.

ah, the vote thread... then I'd like to add the 3 sec invulnerability after spawning... playing not allowed to be kill or shoot but will have JUST enough time to grab a weapon or paint grenade to defend.

ah, the vote thread... then I'd like to add the 3 sec invulnerability after spawning... playing not allowed to be kill or shoot but will have JUST enough time to grab a weapon or paint grenade to defend.
