I vote for a button to delete a profile from the global login profile in-game.

+1 for reset password option: 7mau

Should really be like +5 or more, but I haven't kept track of them all.  I'm counting every password reset request as a vote.

Another vote i would like to add:
Removing or changing the out come of a Paint grenade. Instead of a suicide maybe have it remove 100 paint balls and if you have less then 100 have it force you down to 10 paint balls or something along those lines.
that makes no sense. the balance of paint grenades is that they can be used to kill, and they can kill you if you arent careful. taking some of your ammo would have basically no effect, since you could pick up more.

Here's an idea (to increase the realistic-ness of the game): When you shoot for maybe like 5 seconds or so, or when the gun_temp bar gets half full, CO2 gas starts coming out of the barrel. It would be like a real paintball marker being continuously fired. Or maps that use snow textures could always have the gas coming out after a shot (cold CO2 will do it even after one shot). Just an idea. I know it would take a while to implement, and isn't important at all. But if the game has a feature where, like with a "real" gun in the quake games where the light comes out of the barrel while shooting the machine gun, you could use that and just turn it white/grey...

of course this would have to be an option capable of being disabled - that is, for people that either don't like it or for those whose graphics it is too taxing on.

- Option to search players in the serverbrowser

- Ingame banoption to ban global login ids

- Tempban repair. I had an player (6438) who said "NAZI" to me, because OTB recruits only people, witch can speak german. I temp banned him and he came back 20 secounds later (with the same ip). Make the tempban to an "ipban of time".

Add me to that one too. I'm not that far in my C++ class, yet.

Wow, I remember a few years ago we all talked about having global stats, and Jitspoe was on board, saying he'd love to develop (what later became) the GLS first.  Now that the GLS is here, it's main function has been used to deter hacking, I would like to cast a vote in favor of a global stats system that is tied into our GLS accounts.

Put me on that list as well ;D

I don't know if this has been said, because I didn't want to go through 45 pages...(call me lazy..).  But a paintball "Mine" would be cool.  You know like a claymore.  Also (this is a bit of a complex request) but it'd be really cool if there was a "Night time" FFA map, and there was Glow in the dark paint, like Green and Orange...I dont know..that just appeals to me.  Peace,

I'm liking the search players thing, and mine and many others idea of global player stats and rankings.
Both of these would add an orgasm factor to DP2. ;)
Also, I want the glow in the dark idea above^. Somehow thats got to be possible.

After playing on a certain server for the past few hours, it brings me to this new addition:

Balance Team Settings.

This would keep the sides balanced within +/- 2 players or so ( make it a setting) and prevent players from hopping sides and making teams really imbalanced.

If they wanted to swap sides, as long as the balance difference was within the setting, they could do it.

This would maintain a fairly balanced team play.

SO there would be a few settings:
Enable team balance
Set team differential

I have some new ideas.  1. If possible you could implement a system in which players coming into a server could be "Screened" for hacks.  2. Possibly some maps that are reserved for players of a certain skill level (assuming that the ranking system is started), like Noob, Intermediate, Expert, Pro...I don't know.

Seconds ago, I saw a speedhacker, so i started chasing, but as I went obs for the next round to get a demo, he must have seen me obs and stopped.  I'm suggesting the idea of having a 'speedhack observer mode' which would show as a disconnect, but would let you spectate to catch speedhackers.  I know a lot of speedhackers stop when they see someone go obs, or if someone says 'speedhacker?' .. the fear alone in this system could even curb a bit of the would-be speedhackers.

or just have a server setting that either will or will not notify the players that someone went OBS but it still shows the player as OBS on the lineup.

There ya go!
