It looks like you have an old version of the menus.  Go to the first post (link) and grab the zip.

Thats interesting.  Do me a favor, zip your "menus" folder and attach it here.  It sounds like an older file got in there somehow.

You are clicking "Yes" when it asks you to overwrite the files, right?

Edit:
Also, delete the "menus_v5.pak" file so it reads from the "menus" folder.

Ok.  It looks like you where using the .pak file.  For some reason that doesn't work right.  Unzip the menus_v5.zip to your ".\paintball2\pball" directory and that should fix your problem.  Also, make sure you delete the "menus_v5.pak" from your pball folder as well.

Ok, I want to start developing these again, but I don't know what to do other than populate the gamemode menus.  Ideas?

If/once new menu format is implemented have it set gamemodes to automaticly set to there section (using the contents of the bsp file[maybe the same way as the lettering?]). Or you could add some sort of thing that showed the news off of the main page of this site maybe have a couple links to things such as sk89qs site and stuff like that. Just some ideas off the top of my head.

But all of that would have to wait till the new menu format.

I was just thinking until new menu format you could have a section that was useful inks with guides and stuff.

Preview time!  :D

Two things, a re-designed "Join Server" menu (Loser's idea).

and a clan tag add/remove option (still needs tweaking).

Thoughts?

How does the clan tag work with the funname editor?

Why is there a Disable Custom Skins checkbox, custom skins are banned.

It doesn't.  :P  Thats one reason that menu still needs tweaking.  You can, however, hit Ctrl+K then a character to make the colors.

I donno, I didn't put it there.

here's your reminder:

check into exec-ing a config for using actual keys in your map menus.
