Ok, I've released a no-flag version (V4). I'm gonna keep V3.1 up, but be warned, V3.1 does not work for everyone. Sorry for all the issues. Now I know how Jits feels. :P

Very nice Zorch, but you might want to start putting all the menus and related files in a pk2 file, so you can just put it directly on the /pball/ directory. It would allow people to update the menus easily.

Good work.

Made a news entry about it and mirrored the files on www.ch1ll.com

"\paintball2" is where you want to unzip it too.

I'm not familiar with pk2's, so that might not be happening any time too soon.

Awesome! Thanks!

Just download pakscape (google it) and set the .pk2 files to open with it. There's also qPed but I havent tried it.

a menu to create\delete\save loc files

That would be tricky to pull off. As far as I know, there is no command to just delete loc files. I could easily do the create/save part though. I'll definitely try and pull this one off. Thanks for the idea.

Also I might just switch over to using pak files when I make this menu. Not sure yet, but I'm definitely considering it.

might want to talk to PainkE about that, I think he created such a menu extension, or tried to.

Not really. I do the menus, while y00tz does the CTP.

The only menus I've ever made were mods of Z's... just to add images and what not.  It's sitting on the laptop in the living room about 90% done.
I will quickly concede though, that Zorch has put too much effort into his menus for anyone to easily re-create his progress.

Keep it up mate :P

Eek - that map! I can't believe I ever posted that.  You'll love some of the new stuff Apoc.

Cheers,
y00tz.

I've started on my next menu update, so I figured I'd give a quick progress update.

This is what is going to be included in the next release:
  • A FOV setting in SETUP > LAYOUT OPTIONS   [done]
  • A crosshair menu     [almost done. fine tuning]
  • A loc add/edit/remove menu
  • Use of .pak files (hopefully) for easier installation
  • Very possibly a slight re-organization of the in-game menus
