Annoying Sounds.

How can i turn of those in-game sounds?
 Im not talking about footsteps or jumping sounds. I mean those simpson quotes and other silly quotes that get played in-game. Also whats the command to get rid of Paint grenade staines?

delete them... if you want i can upload you my sound folder, everything is deleted but the necessities.

You need to modify your config file so it doesn't just re-download the sounds:

or uncheck "sounds" in multiplayer setup

Those sounds are my favorite part of the game. I hope theres new ones on build 17.

I think Jits is aiming for build 18 on the sounds, but i could be wrong. But I do know he is looking to put in GPL'd sounds.
