yeah raise that one, then the top one should correct itself when you lift it up to compensate, or scale down the barrel stripes to fit it right

Looks like the barrel texture alignment still hasn't been fixed.  Also, when I loaded the map, I got a bunch of errors:

Quote
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz
Bad field -> GiveC02 == 20oz

It's GiveCO2, not GiveC02 (oh, not zero).  I thought you weren't going to give people CO2 to prevent spray?

And from the BSP shot you provided, I noticed some brush overlaps, which is really bad mapping practice.

The maps nice for a first.. i don't like how quick you can run from flag to flag you should make a jump to prevent some time or make it more difficult.

Wtf, i never even added co2. thats weird.

It musta been from my previous verisons... Though im sure that i took it out.

Clipz:

Yeah, i was noticing that aswell. I think i might add a little hole you can jump into if you get the proper air...

Alright.. you got some more work to do. Sorry to inform you. Here are some SS's

Ok first rotate the wood make sure its all going the same way.

Second your missing the other ramp...

Third well this is more of a suggestion. Move your ramp back drop the wall down so you have to get up to the tunnel. It will still be quicker then the other paths but it might take some jumping skills to make it.

Just make sure to rotate all the wood.. besides that nice job.

i meant to put the ramp there, cause the big tower is closer to the other side.

But on the other side its hard to get up, cause its easier to get on the path

but the third suggestion i like alot

Thanks!

There are some serious lighting issues now (see screenshot).  Looks like you went back to the older bsp package with phong shading on the sand.

Doesn't look like you've touched the barrel texture alignment, either. :P

I've found out that it is easier to tell if you have miss aligned your barrel textures if you use s8n's hi-res textures.

That's a bug in the newest BSP. You can still make barrels easily, but you have to go through another menu.
You can stick with that version of BSP and still use the old pack. Just download the newest pack, and move the BSP files of the version you want into it.

Fun to play, but lots of lighting errors.  I don't think i need to point them out :)

The ground looks a lot better.  The only problem with shadows now is on the barrels.  To fix that, you probably need to use a different phong value on each barrel.  In the value box for the surface properties, just enter some different number for each barrel.  You don't want the top of the barrels to be phong shaded though, so leave the value at 0 there.  Any barrels touching each other should have a different phong value, otherwise they'll try to blend together.

Edit: Beta 10 has been put up on the beta server for testing.
