How do I create a ladder in BSP?
I can make everything else.

the best way to create a ladder is to put clip brush around the actual ladder structure, then with the clip brush selected, hit "s" check "ladder" and click "apply brush".  You can apply the ladder flag directly to other brushes, but it sometimes makes them difficult to climb.  A clip brush is just a brush with the clip flag checked, btw.  If you use the clip texture, this is set by default.

Hump's maps are a perfect example of why you shouldn't apply the ladder flag directly to the ladder structure -- you can apply the ladder flag in BSP as well, and it's easier, but the resulting ladders are sometimes difficult to climb.

Also, you want to make the clip brush only cover the part you're supposed to climb if you want to make them bot-safe -- bots have a tendancy to climb up the wrong side of a ladder and get stuck under a platform or something.
