I have a Clan Fear Factory, but i want to know, how i change the font and color of my name in the game.
i open console press ' and typed funame, but i dont know how change. please...help me!

go to console and type
menu setup_funname

most people find funnames annoying and distracting so be careful how you make yours...dont make it too fruity


edit: are you opening the console then hitting the ` button...that might be one problem

I don't know the answer to that question. But you might want to update to build17 because if that is a bug (I don't think it is) it will be fixed.
This is probably the best solution since build 17 is the most updated version of the game.

That's a problem with spaces in your name.  Either take the spaces out or put quotes around it.

so I would need to save the first part of my name from the funname menu, save the 2nd part separately, and then put them together with seta name "{appy Hamper" (with the space)?

The main reason I ask is that I tried to make a menu where I can just click the name I want, but the command "seta name "{appy Hamper" still gave me the flags error.

What?  No.  Just put quotes around your name in the input box.

sorry to pull this up again, but I finally tried adjusting my names menu.

Originally:

widget
   yrel 48
   halign center
   text "{appy Hamper"
   command "set name {appy Hamper;menu pop"

I tried adding extra quotes:

widget
   yrel 48
   halign center
   text "{appy Hamper"
   command "set name "{appy Hamper";menu pop"


but the usage is not correct.  I also tried some other variations with quotes in different spots, but nothing seems to work.  Is there a way I'm missing, or am I beating the proverbial dead horse?

You currently can't have quotes inside of quotes.  Vote for it in the 2007 feature vote.
