the tranny is the older tf999.  It appears that the converter housing split.  So, I figure that the tranny will get a rebuild, about $300.00 in parts.

But the engine leaks more oil than a $5.00 crack sexually promiscuous person and I know it won't pass emissions.

So I'm looking for a 4.0 HO drop in for it.

Or a 400hp 350 ;)? cant wait till we finish up our race jeep and put a crate motor in my yj. Pics comming soon.

I almost bought a yj with a 350 in it. Scary feeling going that fast being lifted so high. I would've bought that one but it was rusted everywhere. This one has none at all which is what I was looking for. Plan on doing line-x in a medium to dark brown in the interior and a sand brown(as close to the original paint as I can get) line-x exterior. Muhahahaha. Then comes all the extra junk. New bumpers, remote winch, custom hardtop, new system and out of this world cb set up. I'll take some photos of the interior this weekend so you can see how clean it looks.
