ultimate sniper script

I don't know if anyone has done this before, but if they haven't, then that must mean i'm really cool. What it is is a manual adjusting sniper script. Paste it in your config! Pressing mouse3 toggles between sniper and regular mode. Scrolling up and down zooms in and out.

isn't that a little to much fov 5 and i think its useless to have that zoom seriously y would u need that many zooms for all u need is one zoome not like 20 but its just my opinion

paintguns cant go that far...

that script is for something like Action Quake2, or possibly even a RailWarz....

thats too advanced and too much for paintball, nice script though

for me a sniper script is useful but...this isnt.Paintball 2 is too quick..theres no time to keep ajusting ur zoom.

I haven't actually tested it so I can't guarantee that it works (especially the sensitivity part), use at your own risk.

There is no 'if' statement (not that thats even possible) so you would zoom all the way out to 160 (I think thats the max) but the numbers will keep going up (ie. it will say '180' but won't be). I'm pretty sure that will also happen with the zooming in too.

cvar_inc can also have a min and a max.  It's something like:

cvar_inc <variable> <increment> <min> <max>

You can set min-max values with cvar_inc but I don't like how it "overflows" it back to the other extreme. Ex: cvar_inc fov 5 10(min) 180(max) done 7 times starting at 160: 165, 170, 175, 180, 10, 15, 20....

This has been done before...you can make whatever conclusions you want. :)
Good idea, scripting, and sensitivity attention.  I'm disappointed you weren't bored enough to have a different crosshair for each setting though.

I just have "q" bound to fov 30 or something.  It works well for binoculars, or when I'm trying to site in my gun for long shots.

Magalhaes is right this game is way to quick to have a script that long. However I just have a key bound to set it to fov 20 and then another to set it back to normal. And i just use sensitivity 4 for both of them.

I know kNoC has keys double bound so that the fov and sensitivity both change at the same time.

either it didnt work through console, or its just one of them commands you have to put in the config.

i.e "gl_modulate"

That's right it is gl_modulate not gl_dynamic.
