Pb_bombacity screenshots.
 By stigma

This is fast map I done last night this is a test map every simple.
I used all paintball textures.  I could find that looked ok for this map
Didn’t spend lot time on the textures.
So it should be legal to use for pball.
 I tweaked around mostly with light value and design of this map.
For other maper’s to use to see how this map was made and what lights value and stuff I used when this map is finished and done ill include the map file

Lucky my editor has same things this game does and also show pball textures in jpg format so can make maps with your textures eeek you guys really need good textures

You would be surprised how much of defiance good textures make
And a nice sky.  Man this would make darn good mod on the game I map for
you would be surprised how much of defiance these maps on kingpin look and play but anyways

There few things my editor can’t do may need a maper from pball to help me setup
Still working on few bugs and tweaking this map more but…

looks good. and you can do a fog thing but as far as i know there is no rain or snow

lot the textures am useing are for  game kingpin life of crime and some been made bye mappers am also useing some my own textures. and other textures. from quake2 and few from cs
the map is from cs i conveted the map few times to few other game over the years...

You can't use any textures from other places. They have to all be GPL'd. Until you replace the textures, you can't release the map.

don't thnk the texutres on this map be problem there custom textures i had permission to use them from the maker of them for long time now but ill  find out more about them am pertty sure there be no problem useinf these

You have to get the author to GPL them for them to be usable.

Don’t know much about GPL.  But playing 100’s of games I have notice that good share of them uses diffent textures from diffent games. Least half maps I have seen from quake1 on down to quake3 halflife, cs, kp,doom, custom maps and stock maps. Would think it make that much of difference .

You wouldn't have to get them GPL specifically to distribute them with the map, you just need them under a license where you're free to distribute them and you'd probably have to package the license as a .txt with the textures.

There are flags for hint, skip, clip, and origin.  Triggers are entities.  The actual texture you use doesn't matter, it's what flags you set in the surface properties.

I think the textures are going to be a problem.  It sounds like you're using a lot of copyrighted material, which isn't legal (unless you can get permission from the authors).  The textures also seem very dark, and when the "stock" paintball2 textures have highres versions made, maps with custom low-res textures will probably not look very good.  If you're going to use custom textures, make sure you can create high-res versions.  See this guide: http://digitalpaint.planetquake.gamespy.com/testwiki1/pb2wiki.php?word=Creating+Custom+Textures

I don't think there is a radiant def file anywhere, but you might be able to use the files included with the BSP pack.

Nah am kind of bored doing maps for kingpin. Sort ran out of idea for that game Really been having fun playing this game Since I had been doing maps and other stuff for so many years. Way not do some maps for this game.

term not sure yet this make good dm/ emil  map still trying see how make this into cft 1 flg maybe 2 flag i make this map into  good ctf map also but am kind of wary the fps would  two high  so am going make one dm/elm map and one team map just see how this work i ran this last night on paintball it run nice with one person and r_speed are low so maybe work  and yah ill een some help on the ctf enites and few other nitnats that my editor don't do
