FPS HELP FOR YOU

Ok, ever since my alienware fried i've been having to play on this garbage dell.  With terrible fps, so I searched and found this program for raising fps.  It's a thing you do to your monitor.

Download it, run it, then when you get done restart your computer and see if it helped.  It raised my fps from a constant 30-40 to 85.  It's not exactly the 1000 fps I got with my old comp, but it's a hell of alot better.

To rasie your FPS you can also try these commands:
cl_locknetfps 0
cl_maxfps 0
gl_swapinterval 0.

Those raised my FPS up.

it screwed my screen up. my monitor only takes up a quarter of the dp screen. and since its so big i cant get into the video setting to fix my resolution and excrement like that.

Try doing vid_restart and see if that helps at all.

Alienware is Dell and Dell is Alienware. This is unless you got Alienware from a few years back.

A good cure for a low FPS is dual-video cards in SLI.

Only if you're fillrate bound (running high resolutions).  Otherwise the improvement is minimal if any.

I just installed the Reforce program and it raised my FPS from 80-90 to about 120.
