When you accidently bend a bunch of pins on a CPU, that can give you an adrenaline rush... or maybe just heart failure, one of the two.
I had this happen, when my mobo fried I put my CPU in a cardboard box and set it on our dinning room table with my computer which was all apart, my bro put the case on the box for some dumb reason and bent a lot of the pins, luckily I got it working.
I used to have a ton of hobbies: Model rocketry, RC cars, toy airplanes, model railroads, models in general, stamp collecting, coin collecting, electronics, misc. science experiments, blowing stuff up and setting things on fire, and then Quake came along...
I do a lot of those too.
Now it's mostly LAN parties, game development, and shooting stuff (real guns, airsoft, and paintball). Occasionally I'll watch some Anime, too, but I'm not as big into it as some of my friends. I guess you could put me under the building computers hobby as well, but I typically see that as more of a means to an end and only do it once every few years anyway.
LAN Parties FTW, especially with Spook. I build my own box whenever I need a new one and help friends with theirs whenever someone's making a new one. I used to shoot real guns, when my uncle was a lower rank State Trooper and they had houses cleared out for new roads and stuff the State Troopers train in them, so I got to shoot a couple up. Bleach is a great anime.
