Can one alter gravities effect on the paint ball its self after being shot  ...shot in a strait line in stead of vearing left or right or loose distance in the shot ? i have seen in done in q2 wod with the bazooka .

this would or could be toggled by player, admin or you poo


jits this your question . mr physicshiizlle  . i assume you do the physics calculations ?

The physics can be tweaked a lot through the server settings.  ball_speed, for example, adjust the ball speed.  There are also some things you can toggle, like waterfriction and slowballsbounce.  There's a bunch of stuff, but it's not really documented. :)

We need it so that jump is "Add player speed". If you jump on a horziontally moving platform, you go flying.

Jumps DO add player speed, however platforms just set the player velocity = platform velocity.

Ok, I think I have it fixed now.  For some reason some news readers were using the link as the unique value rather than the guid.  Unfortunately the link to each post changes when new posts are added.  Actually, that doesn't seem right at all -- I think they just goofed up in the code.  Anyway, I got it fixed now. (hopefully)

 i know new weapons are a low priorty and the sniper rifle idea was shot down

..but hear me out folks
 a sniper in the game would stop the mad rushing for the flag real freaking quick , as a matter of fact most games that have a sniper in the ranks require team work or they loose . assumeing the sniper is accurate  ;)

only problem is the few maps are large enough

ok please be quick to point out the faults to my logic
