One foot is ~37-38 pixels on a hr4 texture if I did my calculations right.

player model pixels height/human height * hr4 scale = 38px. Looks good to me, thanks. I have 12 textures that I'm comfortable with releasing right now.. I'll try to get some more before tomorrow.

I've learned so much on making textures since I started the CTP. Anyway, here is a touch up (2nd pic) to one of my earliest textures (the first one)

I've set up a reservoir for the CTP and CMP so that as I develop them, you guys can immediately download them and put them in maps. I'll probably do a monthly 'build' and group them all in a zip for ease of download. I'll populate the CTP and CMP reservoirs ASAP. The CMP reservoir will probably feel very empty though $:-\$

Edit:

I'll use the method XtremeBain proposed for Paintball2 build numbers.. but without build numbers, just names and dates (i.e. CMP071231.zip or CTP080302.zip)

Do us all a favor and put periods in there: CMP_07.12.31.zip, or just leave out the day: CMP_07.12.zip.

Before I modified my post, I had periods. I just think periods look junk in a filename. CMP_07-12-31.zip works just as fine.

None of them are redwoods, but I have quite a collection of trees near me.

Here, I'll get them now. AND take a picture of a white piece of paper next to them for color correction and all. It's kind of blue outside.

If anyone else can get some pictures of tree branches (preferably against the blue sky, so I can key it out), then I can finish some tree models... I know most areas are about to go out of season... but if you can still get some green leaves, that'd be great. Although I do want a lot of fall colors, as well as leaf-less trees.
