DPCon 2005
« on: December 29, 2004, 02:36:53 PM »
For those of you who don't know what DPCon is, you can read about DPCon 2.0 on the events page.  Of course it was a blast, so we'll be holding a third Digital Paint Conferenece.

This time we're going to plan ahead a bit more so that more people will be able to attend.  Having it at Atlantis Gaming Center worked very well last time, so I'd like to try that again.  Unfortunately they have had to relocate.  I'm not sure what the facilities will be like next time.

Edit: Where and when updated:
Where: Indian Trail (near Charlotte), NC
When: July 23rd-24th

Problem with some place in the middle is that makes it far away from practically EVERYBODY. :)

Maybe we can have an east coast/weast coast dpcon simultaneously.

Well, there are organizational issues.  It's hard to organize something in another state. :P

I think this is what i said....

Is it in july or what...  time seams to be moving fast. The sooner we know the details the better so we can make plans to attend. Sharon , Picasso , And Myself are planing on making the pilgrimage together. Also beside your computer , monitor, kb and mouse is there anything you need people to bring. How long is it  2 days? hopefully its friday night and saturday morning so peolple can leave saturady night or sunday morning in order to return Monday morning work (sorry for the 4 lettter cuss word)
Any who give more details   Tanks

I'll try to work out some potential dates here shortly and put up a poll about it... but probably in July, yes.

It will most likely be saturday and sunday.  I don't see how people could make it on friday night unless they took the day off...

We could potentially add another day or two, if people are able to stick around.
