picasso isn't too big since it is basically a one path map.

couple more maps:
berlin
shazam (original)
shazamr

Just a maybe on the two shazam maps.

I was thinking about running a PB 1on1 cup on our website (We have a 1on1 cup system here: http://www.tezc.co.uk/competitions.php) so far been mainly CSS cups. Obviously being new to PB tho I know nothing other than playing lol :P So if anyone else fancies using our system to run a 1on1 competition then gimme a bell.

I don't really know that many good maps for 1v1 that haven't been said but stay away from seiges (especially zsiege).
Edit: wait did anyone say pbcup?
Edit2: Oh I see it' just way up top thanks Spook.

xbmap1 isn't even properly compiled (no vis or lighting) and should not be distributed or put on servers anywhere, really.

And maps don't have to be small one-path/box maps to be used for 1v1.  Something like midnight or the shazams can work, too.  Makes things more interesting with multiple paths.

shazam would really work. The gameplay would and will be a bit boring in 20 minutes for sure. First, when the score is pretty equal you rush low or high to line it, when 1 team gets a few point lead he falls back and starts to increase his lead, havent seen many comebacks in shazam 1v1, not to mention 2v2.

1v1: conquest - best DM map in dp.

If you rush low or high and line it, then the other player can take the other path.  Much better than having one path and lining it and that being the only way the other player can go.  I'm not really sure what your argument is here.

Edit: But conquest would be a good 1v1 map.

When was the last time you played shazam, jitspoe. My argument was: it gets boring after few rounds. Tedious, humdrum, drab.

That was stupid too. I have a hard enough time finding people when the server is full. :)
