Flowing flag
« on: May 28, 2007, 05:50:23 AM »
While working on chambord mark II, (which looks much better than the original already) I used some water with the "flowing" flag and "current_90" content set. However, the water is flowing directly to the right bank of the river, while the current pushes downstream as intended. What do I do to get the flowing effect to go downstream?

I tried rotating it but it didn't work. Thanks anyway!

Ahh, i thought you want do rotate he watertextur.

If you want to change the direction of current, don't click "current_90", take an other one and try out the 6 possibilities, that you can take the right one, you want to have.

I know, current 90 is the right one, I just want the water to flow that was too

Let me elaborate:
I've rotated the texture, now the TEXTURE flows the right way, but the water ripples on top, triggered by the warp flag, go to the right.

When you have reflectivewater 1, go on bombsaway, go obs, and have a look. You should see that the paint is actually about an inch beneath a layer of ripples that forms the reflective water effect.

Oh, you meant the reflections. As of now, there's no way to do anything with the reflections except turn them on and off. There's something to vote for in the new features thread, though. ;)
