laggy problem

Hi...
I just started a server.. but its kinda laggy...
how do i fix it? ...any ways to reduce laggyness?

If you are running Windows XP or Vista make sure that some worthless program is not raping your CPU.

Also think about setting the priority higher on Paintball2 (make sure it is the server and not the actual game).

Just guess then if you intercourse it up just restart your computer and don't do that one next time. ;D

Hint: Don't end svchost.exe - It will automatically restart your computer

spark before you do anything , if you post your system specs up here, eg RAM, cpu and operating system it would help us diagnose the problem. Also what speed internet connection do you have?

i am going to try to answer these question...
my connection speed is right know 24.0mps...
CPU usage is right know 8% ~ 2% but whenever more than 7 people join it rises up..
PF usuage is 362MB

how do i figure out my ram and operating system?

my ping is really low though

Right click on My Computer and then click on Properties and it is down towards the bottom.

I don't know a ton about servers, but I do know that if you don;t have a fast interent connection (fast being T1 or close to it, which you almost definatley need a fiber optics connection for) then your server might easily lag alot.

That sounds strange. Probably 512 actually.
