Blender: Exporting a skin
« on: June 06, 2007, 08:57:55 PM »
My md2 export doesn't work on Blender (results in a crash)
Unless someone knows an obvious problem I'm doing wrong,
my next fix is to export it as a .3ds and import it to QME where I'll export it as an .md2.  Unfortunately, I don't know if I can export the skin separately, does anyone have any idea?

Cheers,
y00tz

Just the skin? I don't think so. But I think it just stores the UV data with the model and has a separate file for the skin. However, I could be wrong.

Btw, mine crashes too. Soooo annoying.

Yeah, if you can get the UV data through and the texture itself you should be fine. >_>
