i gotta say that was a good move forcing the login on your servers. i swore to myself that i would not upgrade to build 18 unless i absolutely had to. well i guess i did. but i noticed the your pub servers are pretty dead now. wonder if its a result of the change?

Alot of people are paranoid to get build 18. They probably don´t understand that global login is a good thing, and fot the first time yesterday noone could join GT servers without account, no matter wich buid they had (as I understood it). And there´s one problem. New players don´t know where, how and why to create an account to play, and because of that they can´t play GT servers. On the other hand that´s maybe good. Last night (on GMT +1) there were playing alot of skillfull players and I can´t remember when I had that much fun in pubs.

The reason their pub servers are empty is due to the insane lag that alot of people are getting. I can't play on GT without getting the gun jerk thing where balls stop coming out, then randomly come out whenever.

Man i got no clue what you guys are talking about, lag is cause when people join useing build 18 but it calms down other than that its all the euro players that want to play on the east servers, As for being dead the one server normaly has between 10 and 26 people so i dont know how u figured that one out but w.e. if u need to fill it up go on irc and ask people all they do is sit there hahah.

Altogh for the lagg on GT servers is responsible when new player on build 18 enters, I believe what Lekky meant, and wich happens to me also and almost any other Euro based player that the lagg had grown in past month or so, even for no reason (so even if no new players join the game, it just lags no matter how many players are playing).

Yes, not normal lag either. 200 ping does not cause the kind of lag that i personally receive on GT servers now.

Sounds like some kind of routing issue, or just some connection problem in general for outside countries. I don't think I've had any lag issues on GT (except for those caused by my router, but that's another story). The lag on client connections was fixed a while ago. Has that been happening recently?

I have been lagging on GT the past couple of days but it's probably because the movie Knocked Up is raping my connection.

Mine has yes, ever since the move from build 16 servers i think. My ping has increased by around 30, but that should not make me lag like i do (feels like 700 ping) .

because everyone seemed to hate it so much and i didnt want to mess with it. i was going to wait till everything was fixed and ready. but i guess i have no problems with it so far. except the cl_gun 0 having to type that every time i load the game is just nuts. and also did you think it would be cool to add that leeroy jenkins thing? because its not. can you take that out? that is just annoying and really stupid.

Everyone hates build 18? That's news to me. I've heard a lot of people on pubs express dislike because they can ONLY HAVE 3/5 NAMES OMG.
I'm sorry the Leroy Jenkins sound clip isn't to your liking. Feel free to remove it, if it really bugs you so much.

It's generally that you've arbitrarily decided that build 18 is bad, and then started to whine about something that isn't a big deal at all, and you could easily fix yourself. :|
