request* one of zimbo's map (name not known) "x " sumthing?

very tal map with a divider in the middle, has to long ramps on each side (extreme left/right)leading up aprox 60' to an exit points which lead back down into enemy base or a bunker up high. also has a series of "stairs" in the middle that allow top level access (this would be on top of the bunker) the flag is on a slightly raised base , enclosed by 10' to 12'  which can be accessed by going to back of base or by jumping off barrell over wall and on to flag platform.  Does not spawn with weapons and has only one cocker per side . Lots of  fun

Don't think that's the one... there's a barrel texture over an entire wall, but no barrels around the flag...

Where did you play it?  Go to that server and type maplist to see the maps in rotation.  Then try loading some of them up to see which it is.

BTW, short word for "expended telephone cable reel on its side" is "spool."  And use spell check. :)

I'd have to come up with some automated method for the scores  I love you guys and all, but I'm not going to sit there and manually create records for all the pickup games.  I might be able to process the demos and get scores for all the pickup games thus far...

... if I ever had the time to make program to do it.

I apreciate you liking my maps Loial21 (notice i didn't say "latoya" :) )

But I'm not sure my three latest maps (the maps I hadn't ever really officially released but are on rotation on GT) are good for the pickup games.

1) Blarg: too tight with massively jumpy for FFIRE...lol...would be a hoot though.
2) Chilidog: possible, but everyone simply wants to fly across the ice.
3) Airtime: probably the most probable, but again, people seem to fixate on a jump and not the game.

These three maps were built as fun, jumpy, maps (except chilidog which was a study in manual terrain creation, but ended up being a super flying extravaganza).

If any one of these was to even be possibly considered I would say Airtime for game play, but lacks the pretty details (although every jump, landing, and placement was carefully planned). It has good r_speeds and could be incredibly competitive if people just got over trying to find all the jumps, and creating new ones (which really is fun!!!).

Jitspoe here they are if you want to have a look:

Yeah, I think your more recent maps are a bit small for the 10+ players that usually show up for the pickups.  If we have another small 3v3 turnout, they might work, but it's hard to plan for those.  Last time I did and we played antioch3, like 10 more people showed up a couple minutes in, lol.
