free space?

okay so about a week ago im lookin at my computer space and it said i have 79.3 GB of free space......for drive C:

and in drive D: i had like 90 MB lol

idk what happened...i updated my windows...got a new virus program...and restarted my computer. So i look at it today and its up at 120.3 GB of free space and in drive D 20 GB of free space...

i dont know...but does anyone have a clue ?
